Most of us play PUBG but there are many interesting facts about this game which we don't know.
So in this blog i am going to tell you about such interesting facts in PUBG.
1.Ever wondered, how you got killed before you even heard the gunshot from an Arctic Warfare Rifle (AWM)??
Okayyy, prep up for some math now.
Well, I guess everyone reading this have passed high school.
You must have heard our friendly strict physics professor saying this as if saying an old prophecy-
“The speed of light is more than the speed of sound” (insert snores and chuckles)
Now, our good ol' professor didn't know some good-for-nothing Brendan Greene would use this to create some godforsaken game called PlayerUnknowns Battlegrounds
So, follow me carefully now-
PUBG follows the laws of physics-
So, you will first see the flare of the gun (helped me to snipe a lot of dipshits)
Then, after ~1 second, if the bullet does not hit you, you will hear it's whizz, or the “whoosh” sound which makes snakes snakes and pro's pogo sticks.
Now, after ~3 seconds, you hear the gunshot. Assume that there is no suppressor.
2. Winner Winner Chicken Dinner!!!
Winners in PUBG are shown a message ” WINNER WINNER CHICKEN DINNER “. which is a featured carry over from Greene early Battle Royale game-modes . However the concept ” WINNER WINNER CHICKEN DINNER ” dates back to old times .
“’Winner Winner Chicken Dinner’ came from alley craps back in the Depression. They used to play craps in alleys and didn’t always use [money], but if they did it use [money] and they where winning, it meant they they could afford chicken for dinner that night.”
3. ERANGEL IS MY FAVORITE MAP BUT WHERE DID THE NAME CAME FROM???
Many of you are aware of the fact that Brendan Greene is the lead designer of the game PUBG.
But, how many of you do know, how did our most preferred map Erangel get its name?
It is named after Eryn, Brendan’s daughter.
Eryn→Eryn+Angel→Erangel
4. GET TO THE SAFE ZONE ASAP..
Initially the geometric shape of the Blue Circle (or Safe Zone) was meant to be SQUARE.
But, Brendan’s inexperience in coding led him to use CIRCULAR safe areas instead.
5. INSPIRATION!!
Brendan Greene derived some inspiration for his game PUBG from The Hunger Games novels by Suzanne Collins.
The major difference— the loots are NOT centrally located as in the novels (to avoid copyright infringement).
Moreover, PUBG’s mainstream inspiration came from a Japanese movie, Battle Royale, which itself was adapted from the novel carrying the same name (published in 1999), authored by Koushun Takami.
In the novel, fifty high school students are kidnapped, dropped into a remote location by the government. They are forced to kill one another until only one student remains.
Fun Fact— The first in-game paid PUBG crates had costumes resembling those from the Battle Royale movie, especially Chiaki Kuriyama’s yellow tracksuit.
6. The Buggy Poem ...
Always drive the buggy when you are surrounded by the enemies,
Getting shots after shots, eh? Turn your back to 'em and just flee;
'Cause HEADREST of BUGGY is BULLETPROOF, you'll agree,
Their AWMs and M24s can't hit, what their eyes can't see;
Run along the edges of the zone, later take cover of the tree,
Wait. Spot. Kill. Sweet revenge will be thy ultimate glee!
7. Why does the recoil of DP-28 is manageable in comparision to AKM (unless we have attached compensator with it)?
Remember the record player nickname? The disk-shaped pan-magazine rotating while firing up?
Yes. That's it.
The pan magazine's slower cyclic rate of fire is responsible for managing DP's recoil. Law of conservation of momentum, eh.
Physics.Underlying.Battle.Grounds.
8. SHOES or BAREFOOT?
Does it make less noise while running barefoot rather than with the shoes?
Many players prefer to remain barefooted in the game, often removing their shoes in the lobby.
The reason? To lessen the footsteps noise.
Does that really work?
The answer is— YES as well as NO.
Not wearing any shoes, doesn’t diminish your footsteps noise.
It just changes the noise signature (in other words the distinctive sound), though it has few other aspects too.
Shoes make less noise on sand than barefoot, while barefoot makes less noise than shoes on pretty much everything else (grass, concrete, metal, asphalt, et cetera).
Therefore, the best thing to do is— “WEAR SHOES IN MIRAMAR, STAY BAREFOOT IN ERANGEL” !
May your enemies’ souls rest in peace!
9. Are you always worried about enemies listening to your footsteps and spotting your position, while you approach (rush/push) them???
Good news for you!
Hold UZI and crouch your way to them.
Minimal footsteps will be shown..
1o. PUBG set the world record for most simultaneous players at once...
The number of players which played PUBG simultaneously records for 1,342,857 beating record of Valve Dota 2.
so these were the 10 facts facts about the game which many of us didn't knew..
I hope you have enjoyed reading this blog...
